| Until now Soccer City has been known to all as the FNB Stadium. Its location is close to Johannesburg’s National Convention Centre in the southwest of the city. You’ll be extremely lucky if you manage to find any sort of accommodation in the vicinity of the stadium, which is being upgraded from 80,000 seats to 95,000 seats. The upgrade also includes new floodlights and new changing rooms.
Right next door to Soccer City is the home of the South African Football Association and its new headquarters, SAFA House. If you’re planning on attending the Soccer World Cup next year and think you’ll find accommodation close to the ground – think again. You’re going to have to look in the city itself, and maybe Luxury Apartment Charter can come to your assistance.
Luxury Apartment Charter has a number of one and two bedroom luxury apartments in Parktown North close to Rosebank, which is about as central as you can be. If you’re going to be attending the World Cup at Soccer City then Rosebank is about as close as you’ll find accommodation. Our apartments are well appointed - they are architect designed and fully furnished. The apartments are self-catering, each having a fully fitted kitchen – that includes oven, hob and microwave and all the usual cooking utensils.
Of course not everyone cooks for themselves (especially football fans?) so we’re pleased to be able to tell you that Rosebank has restaurants to suit every possible taste. So, if you’re looking for accommodation for the World Cup at Soccer City, why not give us a call and see what we have available.
